Gondolastic Gas alarm sensor

Post by Deeplydippi » Thu May 16, 2019 5:26 pm

I have a Fairline mirage 29, aft cabin fitted with a Gondolastic gas alarm. It has suddenly decided to go off for no reason, anybody have any experience/advice here? Have found the sensor in the engine room which appears fine.

I don't have a gas alarm of that make but mine will sound for a minute or so every time I return to the boat after a few weeks. After a minute the alarm stops.

Apparently they all do this as they get older.
