Fairline 20 Restoration

Postby Stephenclements » Wed Nov 28, 2018 10:28 pm

I have just purchased a 1970's built Fairline 20 which needs a fair amount of restoration. Immediate need is a new or replacement canopy. Is anybody sitting on one in their garage or does anyone have a recommendation of a company I could use? Interested to also hear of any other parts available to purchase.
This is my first vessel purchased and first refit. Based in Shepperton.
Grateful for any help, ideas or advice.

Hi. Welcome to the form.
Do you have the old canopy? Might be able to help if you do.

If you are a member of rnsa or rya there are lots of discounts available you should take advantage off. Boat jumbles are also helpful.

Share some pictures as you go. Look forward to seeing the transformation!

Hi Ross
Good to hear from you and thank you for taking some interest. I will try and post some pictures after this from my phone.
I still have the old canopy, it us currently on the boat clipped in place. Be good to hear how you might be able to help?
Regards
Stephen

Ross
My photo sizes are too big and I do not know how to reduce. If I could have your e mail address I could send direct? Let me know, thanx.
