Postby Kitty Carter » Tue Aug 28, 2012 11:54 am

Hello all!!!

Just seen the weather forecast fo next weekend Sept 1st/2nd and it looks perfect for us power boats.

I am based in Chichester marina and planning a trip to either Bembridgr or Cowes on the Sunday and wondered if anybody else fancy a cruise there or meeting up?

The readership on here seems too low for a get together. There was recently a good meet on the YBW Mobo forum, but we had to miss it as the dog was ill.

If you fancy it we're booked into Island Harbour tomorrow

Thanks for the offer, unfortunately had non boaty relatives over for the weekend so could not get out on the water!!

Went to Island Harbour a couple of times last year, a nice run and great place.

Yes, unfortunately this forum not overly subscribed but always worth a look form time to time.

Perhaps organise something another time. I am in Chichester at Birdham Pool with my Sprint if you are ever around that way.

I hope nobody minds but this seems a great chance to 'plug' membership of the Pathfinders Powerboat Club.....

I should add that I have a vested interest as I belong to the club and sit on the committee!

Pathfinders is a not for profit club set up and run by its members for cruising, socialising and to provide the opportunity to expand your horizons and boating skills. We don't have a club house or anything fancy - we simply organise events for members who can pick and choose whether to attend or not. There is a full calendar of events from March to October with meetings throughout the Solent and a few beyond.

We are always keen to receive new members and the cost is minimal at just £40 for the first year and £35 annually thereafter.

If you would like to know more please PM me or see the website http://www.ppc.org.uk

Cheers,

Joe
