Re: Targa 47 Sliding roof drive Gear
My Sliding roof has startet to close very very slowly, but opens at normal speed. Any idea what is wrong?
Should I change the drive gear? Do you have a short instruction on how this is done?

Apologies for the delay in replying.
I assisisted an engineer named Ian McKenzie and the processs is relatively straightforward if not a little daunting.
I am not an engineer, assuming the motor is OK I would guess that the cable has become blocked and restricted with salt, grease or whatever. Ian was very clear that these cables should only be lubricated with silicone spray.
To deal with this it is almost certainly a full strip apart, clean, check and reassembly.
