Galley Cupboards

I am contemplating removing the gas oven from my T37 and replacing it with a 800W microwave. Any advice on doing this would be appreciated. The microwave will need to be built in and I would like the surround to be as close to the high gloss cream finish of the adjacent cupboards as possible. Any thoughts on getting that finish would also be appreciated.

It's a good idea, hardly anyone uses the gas cookers.

I'd take a door to one of those companies that match kitchen doors or a good joiner or shop fitter should be able to make something that matches.

Some people dislike these but another option is to use a Sharp "Build In Kit" such as this:
