Hydraulic Passerelle

Postby waggysenior » Sat Sep 29, 2018 8:18 am

Hi Everybody
Just relocated my Squadron 42 to Italy and thought I'd get away with just buying a 'portable' passerelle (gangplank basically). Having used it for just a month, learned my lesson. Difficult to set up and use safely so I've decided I need a proper hydraulic unit. Space is a bit tight because of the hydraulic rib platform but I'm guessing Fairline must have designed a space for it.
Has anyone any knowledge of suitable suppliers and installers in Italy please?

Hi,
I also have a SQ42 and have looked into retro fitting air con and a passerelle. The company below had recently installed both to one destined for South of France and know exactly what’s involved for you to either fly them out or use info to use a local company. Approx 11.5k for a nice Besenzoni letterbox type inc fitting. 2.5 m length.
Regards,
Mark

Hello Mark
Thank you for your response. Yes, I know Osmotech; they installed stern thrusters on my boat and they are a very professional firm. I'll get in touch.
In the meantime, if anyone knows of a good Italian firm who do this work, please let me know.
Thanks
Tony
