Hello all,
I have recently acquired a Corniche 31 with twin TAMD41As.
Any advice on cleaning the bowls on the Separ units? I'm have replaced the elements with racor equivalents but want to remove and clean the bowls as I am having a low RPM at WOT issue and want to eliminate these.
Thanks in advance,
D.

Yellow bowler,
There is not too much to clean really in the bowls. I have kwa-90s on the tamd61a engines. There is a ring of bolts and it comes apart easily. Possibly best to do on a bench if unsure. Inside there is the feed tube, centrifuge parts and the valve ball for non returning. Perhaps a check for air leaks, filters etc might also be a good idea from the tank to the engine?

Hi Gary,
Sounds easy enough then. Will give it a shot. All filters have been changed including the tiny one in the lift pump.
