Fairline 36 turbo 1989 Hot Water Tank

Postby Braiz » Sat Jul 29, 2017 12:20 pm

Hello im posting this on behalf of my uncle who has a fairline 36 turbo 1989. he’s looking to replace the hot water tank and to me it looks like a normal house immersion heater tank, was wondering if anyone could confirm this and if anyone knows how many litres it holds.
Thanks

Hi, I got a brava 36 and I, ve just replaced the emersion heater which is a 1 kW unit and not the 3 kW which is used the house. My calorafier is a 50 litre upright which can be found online. Hope this helps.

Late reply, but I replaced mine with a surecal (http://www.surecal.co.uk).
I used a slightly smaller 30 litre one - I think the factory one is nearer 40 litres, but someone may chime in with the specs.
Easy to fit - just like domestic plumbing.
The immersion heater is only 1Kw instead of a domestic 3Kw.
Hope this helps.
