Cruisair Replacement Pump?

Post by RotorSwing » Wed Feb 07, 2018 4:53 pm

Glad to have joined the Fairline Owners Club, I have a big story to tell about a recent refit on our Squadron 55 including the installation of the latest Magnus Rotor Stabiliser system...full report will follow.

In the mean time I am wondering if anyone can help me find a replacement Cruisair Pump P1500BX for the air conditioning system. We have had a price from Cruisair direct but wondering if anyone knows of an aftermarket alternative supplier or second hand pumps that may be available?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

ANY centrifugal pump will do. There are plenty from IBO on ebay that are much more reasonably priced. The 1500 refers to flow rate 1500 us gph at 3ft head. Look for something similar. Much cheaper. Ideally you wa t a bronze head but the brass ones last a few years usually and at £150 much cheaper than cruisair pumps at circa £1500.
