Sedan 36 headliner

Postby farsco » Tue Aug 09, 2016 8:36 pm

Hi all

My first post. I have recently purchased a sedan 36 which needs a lot of love!

One problem is a saggy headliner in the main saloon. It's dropped where 2 panels meet. Can anyone tell me how the panels attach to the roof. Are there clips or some such thing.

What's the best way to remove the panels before I start pulling away at it and make things worse.

No doubt I will be back with many more questions.

Thanks very much in advance.

If you cannot see any fixings you will find that the panels are held up by heavy duty Velro.

Short question - Was it "glued" with velcro?

Hello Farsco,

Did you ever get around to doing the headlining and seeing what's keeping the panels up there! I'll have to do the same with mine in the not too distant future too.
