Turbo 36. patio door replacement

Post by Skipper_Worse » Thu Mar 24, 2016 8:09 pm

In order to remove my old Volvo engines, I have removed the patio door. Upon not-very-close examination, the door needs to be replaced. It is worn out. I checked with Trendmarine, to have a new one built, their answer --- GBP 2,400. So that's out of the question. So, the quandary: Has anyone ever replaced the patio door? And if so, what changes were made? I was thinking to maybe have a hinged door instead of the sliding door. Any ideas?.
There is nothing -- absolutely nothing -- even half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.

Its not that complicated - a trip to your local window manufacturer and I would think around £300 - 400 would easily cover it.
Failed Yachtie !!!
