Hi Rosco, They're fine boats and have enjoyed an extremely long production run (Jan 97 to now). There was a minor update a few years ago that saw the split berths in the forecabin changed to a double. Other than that I've never heard of any real criticism. Jonathan, I've dug out a mini brochure page for the Targa 29 and scanned it for you http://www.fairlineownersclub.com/gallery/album19 . This shows the performance figures. Richie, I assume you're talking about a twin installation. I would go for the Volvo's for the following reasons:- 1) Mercruisers were never fitted to T29's as original equipment 2) You may be able to re-use the legs is you keep the volvos 3) 190hp is way too weady. Have you got a digital pic on your PC? If so then go to the gallery and click "add photos". Then type in the location of the photo on your PC. If you haven't got an electronic image please let me know.
