Hi Roger, There are no glow plugs in Targa 30's with kad32s, take off the topblue panel and you will see the panel isnt connected to the fourth connection. The manuals refer to glow plugs because the manual is common to AD31 TAMs engines etc. Its a lot harder to start in winter, the key is to keep t...

Hi Roger, Hope you are enjoying my old old boat !! You spelt Merelle wrong ;) The tachometers will dry out if you take them home and keep them in the airing cupboard or on a radiator over winter. Otherwise others recommend taking out and firing a hairdryer into the BACK for 1/2hr. Resetting is not p...

NC,

TekTanks always have good quality tanks from when ive seen when at boat shows etc, they do a custom build for a targa 34 for reasonable money and since the aft cabin mouldings are probably the same on the targa 30 / 34 Id guess its the same for a 29.

My boat had a couple of mains sockets in the bay.

Ive got a couple of 135W tube heaters + digital plug in thermostat on the classified section for ?45 (about 1/2 what I paid from new 2yrs ago) if anyones interested and can collect from Southampton.

3700-3900 is recommended WOT range for kad32s, mine do 3900. John, you will only hit ~12knots doing one engine at a time so wont need so much space. take note of revs the supercharger kicks in and out and how quick the revs build when supercharger kicks in, compare port/stb for any differences. This...

Hi John, Has this happened suddenly? Was it all ok before, has anything you know of changed since? You can test by driving with one engine in neutral and the other WOT, you should get 2500 revs or very close. Try this on each engine to compare the max revs. I used to get less revs on one engine befo...

Luc, this really is an interesting boat. Have you any more photos of the changes like the TV or any photos during the installation? Did you do this yourself or have it done by a company? I understand you owned this boat for three years and made the changes this year, why would you want to sell such ...

WoW!!

I like the removal of the sunpad, can you still access the engines the same way?

(you might want to move this post to the fairline forum rather than news section?)
