Hi
I have 60 meters of chain and I think it's a Brittany anchor but I have not weighed it.. It "looks" less than 10 kilos but diffucult to judge.

I'll check it's size and weight next visit.

What size anchor?

Hi
I'm sure this has been asked before. Anyway.. I've a Targa 31 and "people" tell me it's too small. My Anchor that is. How does one decide on what size and type?
I anchor on both sand and rocks.

Hi and thanks for all the comments and advice. This weekend I learned a few things. Re the revs... Sorted .... The linkgages were not correct and now I get 4,000 revs on the starboard and 15,000 on the port ( i still suspect that rev counter) I was forced to change to white diesel when I moved to Pl...

Everything (including me) was anti fouled.. Trin tabs up. I suspect we may be a little heavy.
I'll try to eliminate some things this weekend by trial and error.

Thanks for the advice. My bottom is very clean!
She was antifouled only a month ago.
I'll rev her up next time I'm there. I guess it could be the rev counters?

Hi Bob
Nice to meet you and your family. Love your boat!
Monday was the best weather day. Went to the cove between Penlee and Rame. No fish but very sheltered.

Hi Dunc
Thanks for the info. I've also got AD31's. What the max revs and speed you get?
How many hours are on your engines?
I'm asking cos I'm not at all sure my engines are putting out the correct BHP

Hhi
I suspect I do not fully understand. Where is this digital counter?
Are you talking about the one in the rev counter or another independent one?
Regards
Ray

Hi
Thanks for the advice. The digital engine hour counter in the rev counter seems to be working OK. Why do you suspect it would be broken?

Rev counter is not happy

Hi Guys
The port rev counter seems to have developed a mind of it's own and believes the port diesel engine is doing what petrol engines probably would.
What's the common fault with rev counters? The gauge? the "sender"
Help I'm lost on this one.

vacuum cleaner

OK So it's a boring post...
Seems we need a small 240 volt vacuum cleaner for the boat. My good lady wife and 1st mate ;-) will only clean while on the pontoon so no need for 12 volt.
Anybody suggest one that works? ie actually sucks up the fish scales, hooks, swivels and spent line.?
