Hi It's a shame you ask now. I did our boat with the cheap stuff. Wife didn't like the colour so i re-did the exposed (to the eye) with the expensive stuff. She can't see the cheap paint while in the water. (boat that is not wife) Next time I take her out (boat not wife) I'll see if the extra money ...

Hi Roger.
Thanks for the info.
Good thinking to match the hand held with the fixed. (I never thought of that :-} )

Can anybody recommend a hand held GPS?

Hi
I'm thinking of buying a hand held GPS for general use and as a back up for the hard wired GPS in our boat.
Can anybody suggest a good one.

There are so many to choose from I'm getting (more) confused.

Hi Mark
I agree with your comments on the price. I'm surprised somebody has not made a clone at half the price.
Thanks for the response.

Hi
I need to buy 2 snap davit pads for our inflatable.
They seem to be a nutty price.
Do you know of a "low" cost supplier?

Hi
That sounds like a good idea.
We set off for Fowey today but it's damp, drizzle and then finally FOG.
So I'm back on the pontoon in Plymouth with a cold beer :-)

Thanks Bob.
It's a while since I've been there and I wondered if anything had changed. If it's the same as it was a few years ago the harbour dries out and we have way too much air draft to get under the bridge

Looe Cornwall, Overnight moorings

Hi
I don't remember there being any where suitable to stay over night in Looe Cornwall.
Do you know of any moorings?

Well guess what. We have narrowed down the source of the yellow stains. Boring but worth a mention. Old yellow towels used for rags and left wet (to dry) here and there. A bit of everything seems to fade them and I hope loads of UV from the sun will finish the job. Yellow towels are banned frfom now...
