Re: Phantom 41 Tam61A better performance
Hi Simon, As the TAMD61A delivers 228HP at 2500revs is that the power were you have to deal with. Or you have to raise the power up by a Volvo Dealer or other mechanic to max 2800 revs then the engines are delivering 306 HP. I don't know if that can be done just by screwing up the max RPM on the inj...

Re: 2007 Fairline Phantom 48
Hi Settingson, Normally the fluxgate ( gyro compass ) is situated somewhere under the floor near a bed or hatch in the floor so you can take it out for repair. I know from the time the midcabin was not yet standard it was mostly in the starboard guestcabin mounted on the engineroom bulkhead. But as ...

Re: Loss of shore power reset
Hi Mark, First of all it is not common on Fairlines. Only the SQ42 has that "Problem", At the time that the SQ 42 was built the were changes in the safety rules of pleasure crafts and that coursed the change in shore power connecting. In the case of this Sq42, it will course problems when the owner ...

Re: Targa 47 grey water system
Hi Gigi, Standard the blackwaste tanks on the Targa 47 are only connected to the toilets that means on the blackwatertanks are five hoses connected. one for each toilet, one for exhausting the tank by pump underwater, one for exhausting in the marina by vacuum and one as a ventilation hose to deck. ...

Re: Targa 47GT Rudder Seals
Hello, I've got a Fairline Targa 47GT 2008 model. Slight water seep on both rudder stems into the bilge. Does anyone here have any idea of the make or model of the rudder or better yet, the specifics of the seals which need replacing? I was delayed getting the boat out and had to make a run for the...

Re: Phantom 50 24/12v breaker
Hi Stephen,
You first could try to switch of all the 12 volts users and switch them on again one by one to verify which user is the faulty.
As far as I See it is secondary problem of the converter.

Re: Fresh water pressure
Hi all, Only had this 1997 Squadron 55 for a year. The water pressure was very poor in both showers and taps from purchase. This year I have renewed the water pump, the same as before, a Jabsco Parmax 4 (16 liters per minute) and also a 9 litre accumulator tank, and fitted to Jabsco spec and all pi...

Re: Targa 40 swim platform
Do you think the boats handling will be badly effected if I put a very light Jet ski (seadoo spark) on the extended platform? I have here a Targa 40 with a spark on its platform. The owner aswell as my self weren't aware of any handling problems of the boat. I must say that the weight of the Seadoo...

Re: Targa 40 Fly screen
Hi Tyko,
I suppose you mean the mosquito nets in the portholes.
They are just glued in with some blanc silicon.
Mostly you pull them out by hand and otherwise just use a screwdrier to lift it a little and pull it out then by hand.
Replacing it in reverse and use some silicon to keep in place.
