Re: New Cover targa 38 will fit well??? Flexicovers Ltd

Hi, I have to replace the cover of my targa 38/2011. Has anyone some experience if a new cover from flexicovers, which you can order on their website for this model, fits as good as the one which was delivered with the boat (also from Flexicovers). Can I only order the new one and it will fit well?...

Re: Targa 52 2008 - Electrical/Wiring Diagram?

Hi Phillip What specific area were you looking for as each system/area had its own set of diagrams KR Wiggley Hi Wiggley - Thank you for your reply. Honestly, I'm not quite sure. I'm more of an engine guy and not electrical at all. I have a "guy" who is helping me with the electrical so he asked fo...

Targa 52 2008 - Electrical/Wiring Diagram?

Hello Fairline Owners - I'm looking for an electrical/wiring diagram for my 2008 Targa 52. I can see, when I search on Google and this forum, that it should be in the boat manual, but I haven't found it. I have also tried contacting Fairline directly but without luck... Does anyone have one or know ...

Re: 2007 Fairline Phantom 48

Hi Settingsons - I also have found an issue with my autopilot and after an uncomfortable search in the engine room, I found that the plug connecting the controller and the autopilot is weak. The controller is located in the starboard side behind the fuel tank. (mine is a targa 38 from 2010, so it wi...

Garmin GHS 10i speaker issue

Hello All - I'm a brand new user of the Garmin GHS 10i VHF handset and I can't really get it to fully work. I can turn it on and choose channels. I just can't hear anything other than beeps when I press buttons and change channels (so that proves the speaker is on and works)...? I tested with a frie...

Haha yes, we were waiting for our "neighbor" to arrive, so need to be prepared ;-) I'm looking into having fender baskets mounted, but I'm not sure if I like the look... :?

Finally in water

Finally my boat is in water. This was my first weekend using the boat and I'm thrilled to be a Fairline owner. This is an amazing boat.

I already have a few things I need to figure out, so I hope this is the right place to ask questions

Re: Auto Trim Tabs

Hi I asked my lokal volvo dealer and they installed the software. Its one of the EVC features. Where are you based? Kurt Hi Kurt - Thank you for the research. I'm based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Just googled the EVC feature and can see that it explains the trim system. Very interesting - thank you! B...

Re: Auto Trim Tabs

I found this http://www.mente-marine.com , which seems pretty straight forward. I also found http://www.zipwake.com - however, this seems more like a full system with redesigned flaps etc... I had a look at the Mente Marine website and video. Looks quite cool but the boat in the picture is way smal...

Re: Auto Trim Tabs

Hi Guys - I would recommend you use the boat first and see if you find yourself needing to adjust the tabs much. Thank you very much for the feedback. Over the weekend I have also come to the conclusion that I should wait a season before doing any major upgrades, so that I have time to learn more ab...

Auto Trim Tabs

Hi Guys & Gals - As mentioned in another post - I'm now the proud owner of a Fairline Targa 38 from 2010 and I have a question about auto trim tabs. The boat I bought have rear mounted trim tabs - however, they are not automatic. I heard that it is possible to buy and mount a sensor/gyro that will a...
