Re: Targa 30-wet bilge

Had the same issue with our 40 and also put down to rain, being fresh, but discovered it was the fresh water tank fill hose / pipe. It was perforated probably from the hose pipe being pushed in, then when filling the tank to the point of overfilling, discovered this was when we were seeing water in ...

Targa 40 (2002) controls in garage

Hi, I have 2 sockets on the right hand side when I open the garage, the bottom one is for the winch but I don't know what the one at the top is for. Any help would be appreciated?

Now this would be nice but as they are rarely seen, and to be honest who notices them? So we managed to find on Ebay gas struts that are metal and a nice grey ...

Re: New owners of a Targa 40 2002

Yes, I suspect you are right Pete as we do want as original as possible. The hinges have gone as well by the
way.

Thanks in advance for checking the fridge out for us.

Re: New owners of a Targa 40 2002

Hi Pete, and thank you for your warm welcome to the forum. We have indeed had a great deal of fun on our 30 and really looking forward to picking up our newly acquired 40. We had actually already looked at Bates Wharf and hoping to get something sorted a little cheaper if we can. If not we shall ret...

New owners of a Targa 40 2002

Hi, We are just changing from a Targa 30 which was a fabulous boat, to a Targa 40. Can't wait to get her in about 3 weeks. We are on the South coast of UK. There are a few bits that she is missing or needs repairing/replacing. Does anyone know a good place to get the perspex/plexiglass chart cover o...
