Re: Buying a fairline targa 40

I have a 2004 vintage T40 it's a great boat, we put it through some rough stuff as we live in the Channel Islands. Great on fuel (70lts/ hr @23knts) on D6 310s.

Re: Wardrobe door seems to be fading

Yep, I have exactly the same problem on my 2004 T40, most of my cabinets have faded. I just live with it but if anybody has a cost effective solution, please let me know.

There is a great 2007 model with D350s in Guernsey, it's not VAT paid though.

Re: Greetings from Bourne Lincolnshire

Hi Tango, Great to hear that you are back in boating after all this time, my wife and I find ourselves in a similar situation having sold our last boat (a Princess 286) back in 2002 as I needed to make a career change ans couldn't afford to keep the boat, suddenly last May we found ourselves looking...

Hi try googling UK Hull identification numbers and you should be able to find out what the HID means.

Targa 40 Saloon Fridge

Hi, does anybody know what the make and model number of the saloon fridge on a 2004 Targa 40 would be. I need a new thermostat but need the correct model number in order to order one.

Targa 40 Generator

Hi, has anybody got any experience of retro fitting a generator on a Targa 40. I note that there is a change over switch on the switch panel, is it simply a case of wiring the generator feed to this switch?

Any advice would be greatfully received.

Re: Targa 40 with KAd44's

Many thanks both, I managed to find one with D6 310s and within budget, saw 36.7 on the plotter on the sea trial. It goes to survey tomorrow, hopefully I will get my hands on it next week.

Re: T40 Dinghy

Tried to find the correct size on Google, but sadly to no avail. All I need to know is what maximum width of dinghy will fit in the garage, as the Valiant is no longer available it would seem.

Re: T40 Dinghy

Thanks for the comments, I don't suppose you know how wide the Valiant 2.7 was, or the max width that the garage will take.
