Re: TV cabinet removal Targa 40

Hi Jes, If you want to reach the inside of the cabinet, you have to unscrew the bottom dodgers and then the bottom is coming loose complete with the downlight and everything what is inside that cannot pass the cabinetdoor I believe. In the past most of the TV's where mounted on the upper wall above ...

Re: Keys

Unfortuned the keys are never available as a spare set. Volvo Penta delivers always a ignition switch with two keys. If you loose one or both you have to buy a new complete set.

With this lever you can choose which part of the bilge(fwd or engineroom) you are pumping out with the manual bilgepump.

Re: Squadron 42 - No AC Power

Hi True Blue, This is a common problem on the Squadron 42. If the shore power has been tripped ( does not matter what the course was) it will not switch on automaticly when the current is there again at the shorepower. So if you are going from board for lets say a week and a day after you left, the ...

Re: Black water waist tank installation p38

Hi Blade, Originally there is no black water tank mounted in P 38, but under the the galley floor is the most spacey place to mount it and yes you can reach it thru the galley floor or thru the guest cabin. You can make it as big as the space you have to let it thru either the galley floor or removi...

Re: Squadron 42 Black waste gauge

Try to clean the sensor and the guidance which is mounted in the blackwaste tank, it is maybe the reason why it is not functioning proper. ( dirty job :D :D )

Re: Fluxgate Compass Location

Hi Nichaqui,

I am almost certain that it is mounted at the engineroom bulkhead under the floor of one of the guestcabins.
In the starboard cabin under the portside bed or in the portside cabin under the floor which you can reach thru a hatch under the bureau.

Re: Removal of hull side vents/panels

Hi Anders,

Those vents are mounted from the inside :D .
It is hard to get there because there is a lot mounted in front of the nuts and mostly the nuts are covered with gelcoat so you have to clean them first before you can unscrew them.

Re: Fairline Targa 37 heater and switch layout

Hi ,
Send me a PM
I got a picture off the dash with the signs.
I have seen one heater mounted above the tank because there was not enough space in the engine room.
Don't do this if the engines are running on petrol. :D

Re: Fuel senders

Hi all, would anyone know if the fuel tank senders on my phantom 50 are the resistive type or other? Thanks In the years that Phantom 50 was produced, the factory changed from resistive to capacitive senders. You have two wires in case of resistive and three in case of capacitive. I believe that th...

Re: Screen Washer Jet Drips / Squadron 58

It sometimes has happend that the selonoids were mounted the wrong way on the Squadrons and Phantoms. I have had also some Targas with the same problem. What is happening then is that pressure of the fresh water is pressing in the same direction as the valve is mounted. The right way to mount the so...
