Re: Operators manual targa 52GT 2006

That's a comparatively recent boat so there's a good chance the factory (via your dealer) should be able to help you.

Re: Fairline Targa 38 - 2011 - D4’s

If it's anything like my T34 for KAD44's you need

1) to have very long arms and reach down between the engines when lying on top of them or
2) remove the strut and power steering tank and squeeze between the engines

Neither of which are terribly comfortable or practical.

Re: Targa 29 Bellows

Do you know how often he replaced them? They need to replaced every 2-3 years and make sure you use the official VP parts as the copy parts are inferior.

Re: Gondolastic Gas alarm sensor

I don't have a gas alarm of that make but mine will sound for a minute or so every time I return to the boat after a few weeks. After a minute the alarm stops.

Apparently they all do this as they get older.

Re: Outdrive trim sensor problem Targa 34

I can't give you an answer other than it might start working again with a bit of use! I guess there's no harm in checking / cleaning any connections that are inside the boat.

To be honest, I have a T34 and could easily live without trim sensors for a season to avoid an unnecessary lift.

Re: Original Equipment Manufacturers

Lots of people replace the old G4 bulbs with good quality LED ones. Is your boat 12v or 24v?

Cantalupi were the original manufacturer. Worth speaking to https://www.improducts.co.uk/ regarding replacements. If you do replace the old ones, please don't chuck them away, I'll have some as spares!

Re: Targa 34 Cockpit sink ?

Great boats. Only con is the forward berth is a little short for tall people. Just check the normal stuff, overall condition, service history, VAT receipts, Bills of Sale, etc.

Let me know if you have any specific queries.

No sink but they do have a great big cockpit fridge.

Re: Targa 34 - Remote Spotlight

It's a Guest M100. I believe they were discontinued long ago. To be honest, a spotlight on a boat is a waste of time and you're extremely unlikely to use it. But if you're trying to restore the boat to its original state then top marks and good luck! Perhaps a search on eBay and some patience might ...
